Account info (email address); fitness data you enter (workouts, sets, reps, weights, goals, equipment, schedule); messages you send to the AI coach; subscription status; notification preferences and push notification tokens/device identifiers.
To run the app — sync your data across devices, generate training plans and coach responses, and manage your subscription. We do not sell your data and we show no ads.
Supabase (database/auth hosting), OpenAI (processes your coach messages and the fitness, goal, injury, and workout context you choose to share to generate plans/responses; not used to train their models per API terms), Apple + RevenueCat (purchases; we never see payment details), Railway (server hosting). The app asks for your permission before sending coach content to OpenAI.
Before using AI Coach, you choose whether Rhythm may send coach messages and relevant fitness context to OpenAI. You can turn off future sharing in Settings & Preferences under AI Coach Data Sharing. Turning it off disables new AI Coach requests; deleting your account removes stored coach chats from Rhythm's active database.
Apple processes subscription payments and RevenueCat helps Rhythm determine whether Coach access is active. Rhythm does not receive your full payment card details. You can restore purchases in the app and manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account.
Data is kept while your account exists. You can permanently delete your account, profile, workouts, preferences, and coach history from Rhythm's active database in the app under Settings & Preferences → Delete Account. You can also contact us for help. Processors may retain limited transaction, security, or legal records as required by their policies. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings.
